LOCATION: Rincon, PR

PROGRAM: Multi-Family Guesthouse

Tres Casitas was designed as a series of guest suites to complement the main residence, The Landing, while establishing its own distinct architectural identity. Located in Rincón, Puerto Rico, the building contains three identical suites, each featuring a bedroom, dressing area, bathroom, and private outdoor shower.

The suites are carefully staggered to maximize privacy while remaining connected beneath a covered deck, creating a harmonious balance between openness and seclusion. Large sliding glass doors in each bedroom frame tranquil water views, bringing natural light deep into the interiors and enhancing the connection to the tropical landscape.

A refined material palette of smooth-finished and board-formed concrete echoes the existing main house, providing continuity while expressing a modern coastal aesthetic suited to Puerto Rico’s climate. Tres Casitas demonstrates Berg Design’s commitment to thoughtful spatial planning, material integrity, and the creation of intimate, light-filled living environments in a Caribbean setting.
