PROGRAM: Apartment Renovation

Designed for a family with two small boys, this loft renovation was conceived with three priorities: durability, casual living and contrasting rich materials.
 
A tiny enclosed kitchen with low ceilings and a small entry foyer were redesigned and opened to the soaring loft living area.  New book matched teak kitchen cabinets, distressed zinc countertops, pre-existing rough columns and bleached oak flooring provide the tactile counterpoint to refinished precise white walls and ceilings.
