Berg Design transformed this Greenwich Village apartment into a light-filled urban retreat, reimagining the layout to maximize natural light and create a sense of openness. The new plan orients the living room and kitchen toward oversized windows, establishing a vast central gathering space filled with daylight.

Industrial style steel and glass doors extend this brightness into the interior rooms, while a palette of artisan finishes provides texture and warmth. Hand-plastered walls, a rough concrete partition, waxed raw steel, and reclaimed pallet oak floors create an environment that feels both refined and grounded.

In the master bathroom, spa-like tranquility is achieved through raw slate shower walls paired with an aromatic teak shower floor. The result is a modern apartment renovation that balances industrial character with artisan craftsmanship in the heart of Greenwich Village.
